Process

A convenient aspect of coaching is that it is mostly done by phone (no parking or additional travel time) and it carves life assessment and accountability into your day-to-day routine through scheduled phone calls—usually three thirty minute calls per month. When it is determined that you’d like to coach with Jen, you will receive a welcome packet via email (or post if you prefer). The welcome packet includes a section on guidelines and procedures as well as some questions to help establish the coaching relationship.

During the call, the coach and person(s) being coached each benefit from the multi-faceted nature of a dynamic relationship incorporating:
encouragement and affirmation
stimulating and probing questions
active and empathetic listening
visioning
problem solving
developing action plans
accountability

Services

Life Planning for Individuals
(ages 18-84)

An introductory package intended for those who feel a need to move forward in their personal lives but lack clarity concerning how to begin. Newfound clarity is gained through dimensions of self-knowledge obtained by taking the StrengthsFinder™ profile.

The online assessment identifies your unique combination of personal strength themes, and is complemented by a life satisfaction survey, exercises which facilitate discovery of core values, guidelines and inspiration to assist in developing a vision for the future, and principles for the creation of achievable goals. This package provides a framework for evaluating one’s current situation, freedom and encouragement to imagine a preferred future, and concrete steps designed to bridge the gap.

This is the first step empowering you to gain clarity for your future, align your life with your most deeply held beliefs and live with greater purpose, direction and joy. A three month investment of three 30 minute calls per month.

Life Coaching for Individuals

Stimulating questioning, generous encouragement, focused accountability, and practical contextual assignments are provided for those who already have goals, direction, or an idea for focused coaching in mind. This is also very appropriate for those who may not have a plan but know they desire change. Progress is evidenced by life changes and the accomplishment of goals in those areas which are identified for focused growth.

The coaching relationship may include very tangible work toward goals and/or broader reflection and contemplation. This is a natural next step for people who have completed the Life Plan Package or who have done some life assessment work on their own or within another context. It is also very useful for those who are ready to create success within a coaching relationship.
